AirTran Airways is offering a promotion that those of us from the south (or the SEC to be more specific) can REALLY get behind. It’s the spanking new Southeastern Conference (SEC) Football Touchdown of the Week contest. Heck yeah. Each Monday for the remainder of the SEC Football season, the airline will post three of the best touchdowns from the previous week online and allow fans to vote for their favorite. So after you watch the game Saturday, get over your hangover on Sunday and go back to work on Monday – you get to vote for the best in the conference. Then somebody is going to win.

Voters can register for the opportunity to score two free AirTran Airways tickets. Woo Hoo!! As soon as the airline starts flying to my hometown of Little Rock, I’ll get a lot more excited about this promotion. But it’s a great deal for the rest of you. You do have to be a member of the airline’s frequent flyer program, A+ Rewards. The good news is that it’s free to join, so no big whoop.

Each week, college football fans will vote for their favorite touchdown to be entered into a drawing for two airline tickets from AirTran Airways, the official airline of the SEC.
