American Express Membership Rewards Travel Booking

American Express is introducing a Flight and Room booking toll for its Membership Rewards program, on which members can book an award flight or hotel room easier and faster than before. Flight Finder and Room Finder enable charge card members enrolled in the Membership Rewards program to search award inventory, transfer points directly into a frequent flyer or frequent guest account, and book flights or hotel stays in a single online transaction.

Featured partners currently include: InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, AirTran Airways and Hilton HHonors. Additional airline and hotel partners are scheduled to follow.

To redeem award flights or hotel stays, enrolled card members can visit membershiprewards.com/flightfinder or membershiprewards.com/roomfinder to
begin searching for flight or hotel room availability. Flight Finder or Room Finder (depending on the service needed) will return a list of available options based on the search criteria provided and the travel partner’s available award inventories. Alongside the search results displayed, card members can view the total points needed for booking, their current frequent flyer or frequent guest program point balance, and Membership Rewards point balance. Provided the points are available, members can instantly transfer the points needed from their Membership Rewards account to their frequent flyer or frequent guest program account to seal the deal.
