Bank of America FREE Museum Admissions in May
The following information is a post from May of 2007. Check here for current information on the Bank of America Free Museum program. Otherwise, please fell free to read on.
Bank of America is offering its customers FREE museum admissions in the month of May for account holders and guests. How does it work? Piece of cake – you just show your Bank of America ATM, Debit Card or MBNA credit card and they let you in. I’m SUPER excited about this because I haven’t had the chance to visit many of the NYC museums since I moved to the area. Okay, I’ve had plenty of chance but it’s been cold until recently and I refuse to leave my apartment when there is snow on the ground. In New York, the promotion includes places such as the Bronx Zoo, The Whitney Museum, The Guggenheim and the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Not the Met, though. But all it will cost me is a few bucks on my MTA card to see all that stuff. Sweet!
Unfortunately, there are not options in every state. Offers are available in California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont.
If your business travels take you to any of these areas, you might as well soak up some culture while you’re there. Late night at the museum is as good a way to spend an evening in a strange city as any. At least it will get you out of the hotel, at most you might really enjoy yourself. If you’re traveling to other cities in the United States, keep in mind many museums, like the Art Institute of Chicago, offer a free night once a week anyway.
