Bon Appetit’s Culinary & Wine Event in Las Vegas

Bon Appetit Magazine’s Culinary and Wine Focus will be held in Las Vegas from May 17 to May 20, 2007. So if you’re headed to Las Vegas for business travel and you like to eat, then you just might be in luck. Events will be held up and down the strip with a Spectacular Wine Event at Wynn Las Vegas, a Professional Culinary Series at Bellagio, a Poolside Grand Tasting at Caesars Palace (that sounds like my kind of scene) & a Starlight Concert by John Legend (is that REAL starlight or fake Las Vegas starlight?)

The events will feature culinary masters such as Paul Bartolotta, Joseph Keller, Michael Mina, Julian Serrano, Alex Stratta, David Walzog, and pastry chef Jean-Philippe Maury. For the wine lovers, there are two spectacular opportunities with the Vine & Dine Event with industry insiders in the world of wine and an exclusive auction hosted by Steve Wynn and Barbara Fairchild, and the High Stakes Wine Auction. At Lake Las Vegas Resort as the Stars on the Lake series kicks off its summer concert series with a special performance by John Legend and an alfresco dinner created by a celebrated chef. On the menu is also a fabulous brunch at Bellagio served on the wide marble terrace overlooking the hotel’s world-famous fountains. Those all sound fantastic!

Tickets for individual events are anywhere from $55-350, with Wine & Dine special packages priced at $1,200. I definitely think taking a few hours off of your gambling schedule to make one of the events would be well worth the time.
