* Review: When I decided to start doing book reviews on the site long ago (okay, it was just last week) I decided I would only review books that involve some sort of travel. That’s the reason for the “Key Locations” section above. This book takes place in a pretty limited geographic area of the midwest, but boy does Henry, the main character, travel. He travels through time. The first time I heard about The Time Traveler’s Wife, I rolled my eyes. Sci-Fi isn’t really my thing, as I’m more of a classic literature geek. But I really enjoyed this book. You have to have a really well developed sense of “the willing suspension of disbelief,” but armed with that it is very entertaining. I mean, you’re never going to get over the whole time travel paradox of “but if he went back in time and told Clare about that then it would have changed history and then he wouldn’t have been in the right place at the right time for it to happen in the first place.” So don’t be so logical (which I tend to have a problem with), read it and enjoy.
