* Review: If you’re looking for a great dinner deal in the Ironbound area (pretty near the airport), the bar at Brazilia can’t be beat. You can get chuscarria plates for as little as $7.00 a plate. No, it isn’t all-you-can-eat like most Brazilian barbeque’s, but it’s a HUGE portion. I had the chicken and pork with fried bananas and it was FANTASTIC for the $7.50 it cost. They also have inexpensive specials on the board behind the bar. They are in Portuguese, so you may need a translator to understand that espaguete means spaghetti. For drinks, Brazilia offers Brazilian beer (which is actually pretty good) for $2.00 a glass. Wine can be had for $3.00 a glass. If you’re more of a high roller, you can step over to the restaurant side and have something a little more fancy, but then you’d miss out on the karaoke in Portuguese, Italian and English.
Brazilia is located right off Ferry Street in the Ironbound area, which is a decent area to visit for anyone.
