Business Class on Malaysia Airlines

Malaysia Airlines has a spectacular reputation as an airline, and even more so when you’re talking about Business Class on Malaysia Airlines. The variety of amenities and features in the seats make it easy to forget there’s another level above Business Class (although the fact that the seats don’t recline to fully flat may remind you).

The Business Class cabin on Malaysia Airlines will vary slightly depending on the kind of aircraft you’re on, but the differences are minimal enough that I’m going to outline what’s available on a Boeing 747-400 below and not quibble over a few inches of seat width between one plane and another.

Seat & Bed

Seats recline to lie-flat (but not horizontal to the floor)
Seat width is 22-inches
Seats have 4-way lumbar support
On the lower deck, there is a middle seat in the center (it’s a 2-3-3 configuration)

Food & Beverages

Malaysia Airlines signature dish, satay, available on most international flights
Menus feature fresh produce and seasonal ingredients
Meals served on Wedgewood china, with custom-made cutlery, and fine Italian glassware
Selection of fine wines and other great beverages available

Entertainment

Each seat has personal 10.4″ LCD touch screen monitor
Each monitor has on-demand movies, TV shows, sports, video games, and audio programming
Each seat has a 115 AC power outlet for plugging in a laptop or other electronics
