ChargePoint Network for Electric Vehicle Drivers
The ChargePoint Newtwork was developed by Coulomb Technologies to help plug-in vehicle owners find a place to charge their vehicles. The network, which is available on a subscription basis, is offering a limited time offer “Basic Access” subscription plan, which includes free charging through 2009.
Developed to be the world’s easiest and yet most advanced vehicle charging infrastructure, the ChargePoint Network is designed to provide drivers of plug-in vehicles convenient, affordable, and safe access to public charging.
How does it work?
ChargePoint Network subscribers receive a ChargePoint Smart Card that allows them to charge their car at any Smartlet Charging Station in the country, though I’m pretty sure you won’t find any in many areas like Alabama or Newark, New Jersey. The first ChargePoint charging stations are now installed and available for charging in downtown San Jose, with more installations expecting in the coming weeks.
To locate available charging stations, visit mychargepoint.net and click “Find Stations.”
If you drive an electric car or you’re looking in to doing so, this sounds like a great deal for you.
