Element Toronto Downtown for Extended Stay Travelers

Starwood Hotels has announced the new ELEMENT Toronto Downtown, opening in January 2009.The property will be located on Front Street West, minutes from Toronto’s booming downtown financial district and the city center.

According to the press release,

At ELEMENT Toronto, rejuvenation will begin the moment guests enter the open, sophisticated lobby. With natural light streaming through a multi-storied window wall and the tranquil sounds of water and soothing music, the hotel will evoke a sense of calm and serenity. The vitality and movement of the lobby will be matched by the energy of the hotel’s outdoor fire pit and barbecue, where a regular nightly gathering will give guests an opportunity to interact, while sipping a glass of wine or beer.

I like barbecue. And wine. The rooms will provide guests with modular furniture, an entertainment center with a swiveling flat-screen TV, a desk with open shelving and custom-designed closets. In addition, guests will LOVE the Heavenly Bed®, a fully equipped kitchen and sleek, contemporary bathroom with oversized spa shower.

The ELEMENT will offer 700 square feet of meeting space, an integrated technology center, a state-of-the-art fitness center and café seating where a complimentary breakfast will be served daily. Breakfast will even include morning smoothies.
