Greyhound Travel Stimulus Package
Tired of flying and fluctuating airfares? Maybe you should consider taking the bus. Granted it’s not the conventional mode of transportation for the business traveler, but times are tough and Greyhound is offering some pretty decent deals with its new “Travel Stimulus Packages.” Riders can choose from a variety of discounted fares, which include special friends and family rates, expanded e-fares, and deeply discounted advance ticket fares.
“There’s a lot of talk these days about how we can get America moving again and Greyhound is committed to supporting this effort when it comes to travel,” said Dave Leach , president and CEO, Greyhound Lines, Inc. “Our new ‘Stimulus Package’ helps make it possible for families to take their vacations, reunite with loved ones and continue their holiday traditions.”
Greyhound partner Peter Pan Bus Lines also will be offering these discounts in the Northeast region where they serve. The following are now available online and in terminals:
Friends and Family Companion Fare: Up to three companions can travel at 50% off with the purchase of one adult standard walk-up fare. A three-day advance purchase is required.
10-Day Advance Purchase Fare: 10 day advance purchase fares are 75% off adult standard walk-up fare. These fares are limited to 250 tickets per day and will be available for purchase until they are sold out.
Expanded On-Line Discounts: Fares are priced at a 20% discount off the adult standard walk-up fare.
Holiday Bounce-Back Coupon: For all tickets sold in terminals during the holiday period from December 15 to January 5, customers will receive a coupon for 20% off their next trip during the redemption period from January 6 to March 31.
