Hotel Indigo Seasonal WIne Program
Hotel Indigo recently launched its new seasonal wine program, which commenced with the unveiling of Paso Creek, a new fine wine under the Icon Estates portfolio. We like wine at the Business Travel Logue, so I was intrigued when I read this press release.
The seasonal wine program is a partnership between Icon Estates and Hotel Indigo, is the latest offering by the brand “designed to enhance its seasonal renewal program which provides an experiential boutique environment for guests that is in stark contrast to typical business hotels.”
Seasonal renewal, a hallmark of the brand’s distinctive design concept is implemented at all Hotel Indigo properties. The program hinges on thoughtful décor changes made throughout the year that are designed to refresh the hotel environment and provide even the most frequent guest a unique experience with every stay.
Nice. The program will feature new wine choices each season that have been chosen to complement the seasonal menu offering.
The wine program will consist of wine menus featuring the two new wines, wine tasting mats and point-of-sale materials offering food pairing suggestions. The seasonal wine program for 2007-2008 will feature the following wines:
- Winter 2007: Old World / New World Discovery. Experience the wine styles of old world (Italy) versus new world (California) in wines of similar body, weight and structure. Includes Ruffino Il Ducale, Toscana IGT and Estancia, Merlot Central Coast, California
- Spring 2008: Chardonnay Sensation. Compare and contrast two new world Chardonnays delivering two completely different experiences from the same grape variety. Simi Chardonnay, Sonoma County, California and Kim Crawford Unoaked Chardonnay, Marlborough, New Zealand.
- Summer 2008: Pinot Party. The popular white wine Pinot Grigio / Pinot Gris is compared via a classic Italian Pinot Grigio and a crisp Washington State contrast. Ruffino Lumina Pinot Grigio, Venezia Giulia IGT and Columbia Winery, Pinot Gris, Washington State.
