New York Times FREE Subscriptions for College Students, Faculty and Staff
The New York Times is offering free subscriptions for anyone with a .edu email address, which includes any college, university or graduate school student, faculty or staff in the United States. I know this isn’t necessarily business travel related, but MANY of my readers are found on campuses across the country so I’m passing along the information.
According to the press release, “Subscriptions to TimesSelect will be available for free to all registered college students and faculty with a .edu in their e-mail addresses.” Yeah! TimesSelect is the portion of NYTimes.com that the rest of us pay good money to read. This section gives you access to 22 columnists of The Times and the International Herald Tribune as well as an array of other services, including access to The Times’s archives (good for research), advance previews of various sections and tools for tracking and storing news and information. Even if you’ve already subscribed, you can receive a pro-rated refund for your previously paid subscription. To register or for additional information, go to https://www.nytimes.com/university.
