* Review: The Brau Haus serves up FANTASTIC authentic German cuisine to the lucky residents and visitors of the spa city, and has been doing so for many years. Expect to be greeted at the door by a lady with a pretty pronounced accent. You know you’re getting the real deal when the people running the place are actually from the country the food is supposed to be from (unlike a popular Little Rock Greek restaurant that is owned by an Argentinian couple).
In the lower level of the Spencer’s Corner entertainment complex, you’ll find this restaurant with an inviting atmosphere and stellar beer and wine list. Along with the German brew, they serve up a mean schnitzel. And that would have to be my recommendation. Yeager schnitzel with mashed potatoes and sour kraut. Mmmm. It doesn’t come with those sides, but the friendly staff is usually nice enough to substitute. Beyond the schnitzel, you can’t go wrong with any of the nightly specials.
