Star Alliance Offers Free Golf
Star Alliance, the airline alliance program that includes loads of major carriers, is offering a free round of golf or a lesson (if available) to members who travel internationally on selected full fare round trip tickets between now and May 31, 2007. Ticketing and travel must be completed by that date.
To get the golf, you must:
- Be a member of the Star Alliance.
- Register for the promotion.
- Purchase a full fare ticket in Business, First or Economy class (selected fares).
- Be a resident of the United States.
With more than 150 golf courses to choose from around the globe, this appears to be an airline benefit you can actually use. (Unlike my Northwest WorldPerks miles)
Star Alliance members include: Air Canada, Air New Zealand, All Nippon, Asiana Airways, Austrian, BMI, Lot Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Scandinavian Airlines, Singapore Airlines, South Africa Airways, Spanair, Swiss International, TAP Portugal, Thai, United Airlines and US Airways, as well as regional partners.
Be sure to read our review of Star Alliance’s round the world plane tickets. If you’ve used Star Alliance for your RTW ticket, you can leave your own review, too.
