This is probably one of the best credit cards on the market if we consider only the ways in which the reward points can be used. The cardholder gets enrolled in the Membership Rewards® program under which each dollar spent earns 1 point. The points never expire and there is no limit to the number of points you can earn. Also, bonuses up to 40,000 points per year can be earned, such as 5,000 welcome bonus points or 10,000 points when you pay the fee for the second year.

Points can be redeemed for a variety of products and services: rewards from 21 airlines, hundreds of hotels worldwide, vacation packages, over 50 cruise itineraries, and spa retreats. Also, points can be transferred to 11 frequent flyer programs (1 point for 1 mile) and points can also be redeemed for rewards from over 50 participant stores. The rewards earned can be reinvested in the business.

These great rewards are put a bit in the shadow by the annual fee, which is $125 but is waived for the first year. Also, you have to pay the balance at the moment you get the billing statement.

The cardholder also gets access to the OPEN Savings program which offers discounts at participants merchants, such as FedEx, Delta, Hertz, and more. Discounts can also be obtained on air, hotel, and car reservations when cardholders book through the Online Business Travel Center.

The card also comes with travel insurance, car rental insurance, purchase protection and other benefits common for the American Express credit cards.
