Weather and Traffic Information on Your Desktop
Desktop applications are the trend of today and how could you NOT want access to weather and travel information directly on your desktop? TrafficLand, an aggregator of live traffic video, and WeatherBug, a provider of live, local weather information
services, recently entered a partnership to exchange live traffic video and weather information on their websites and on the WeatherBug Desktop Application. That means you now have access to both weather and traffic information in one spot.
With this application, you can receive local weather forecasts down to the zip code level and live views from thousands of local traffic cameras across the U.S.
The service launched with TrafficLand network video made available through the WeatherBug Web site and WeatherBug Desktop Application from 32 major markets and 2,460 traffic cameras. Cities available now include: Washington, D.C., New York City, Atlanta, Phoenix, Cincinnati, Milwaukee and Baton Rouge to name a few. Got to tell ya – Baton Rouge seems a little out of place in that list.
