Where is the Best Dining – New York or San Francisco?
To celebrate the publication of the new “86 San Francisco,” 86 Recipes is offering consumers the chance to win a trip to the food city of their choice: San Francisco or New York. To enter the “SF vs. NY Food Challenge,” you must write, in 100 words or less, which city is the best and why. Entries will be judged based on creativity, grammar and style. The grand prize winner will receive a trip for two to either New York or San Francisco, including round-trip airfare from the commercial airport nearest the winner’s home, three nights’ accommodations (double occupancy), and two dinners in restaurants included in the 86 Recipes collection (to be selected by 86 Recipes). The winner may be awarded the monetary value, at the Sponsor’s discretion, in lieu of trip.
The new “86 San Francisco: Recipes from Top Restaurants for the Home Kitchen” is a retro-style recipe box containing 86 user-friendly recipe cards highlighting dishes from San Francisco’s top restaurants and most highly acclaimed chefs. The collection’s recipes have been modified for the home kitchen and include dishes for every meal along with tips on how to prepare, a recommendation for wine and information on the restaurant the recipe is from. Like its sister recipe box, “86 New York,” it is a tour of one of America’s most exciting restaurant cities, great for home chefs and travelers alike.
The contest is open through July 31, 2007. If you travel to each of the coasts for business, who better to know which city offers the best dining options? Enter to win and make me proud.
