Yahoo! GO Mobile Internet
Yahoo! Go is the mobile browser offered to Yahoo users. I wanted to write a stunning review of this service, as I am a Yahoo user for my personal account. However, when I tried to sign up I was informed that Yahoo! Go 2.0 Gamma is not currently available for your Motorola V3. Bummer. Especially considering the thousands upon thousands of other RAZR users out there who are also unable to use this product.
So I’ll give you the DL from the website:
Yahoo! Go provides widgets containing links for email, local info & maps, news, sports, finance, entertainment, weather, Flickr™ photos and search. The information is optimized for your browser and incorporates the information from your regular Yahoo! account. “Prefer to get your news from The New York Times? Simply add its headlines to your News widget.” I think this means you can subscribe to your favorite RSS feeds (like the Business Travel Logue RSS) on your front page.
Using the search function, results should be optimized to give you instant results rather than scrolling through numerous links like you would on a regular browser.
I’m not sure how well Yahoo! Go works, but because it’s a great product and I can’t use Go anyway, I’m going to stick with Opera Mini. Or you could always get an Avis rental car with integrated wi-fi.
